The Sweyne Park School is a successful academy school in Rayleigh, Essex. Our age range is 11-18.
Our school is a safe and happy environment and central to our school is a belief in respect - respect for yourself, respect for others and respect for the environment. We believe that our focus on respect leads to high expectations and excellent discipline, and this in turn leads to the highest possible achievement for each individual pupil.
At Sweyne Park we are determined to provide first class teaching and learning for all our pupils. This aim is supported by our commitment to recruiting and retaining the very best staff, and our nationally recognised programme of staff training. We do our utmost to ensure our pupils achieve excellent examination results. We have a strong commitment to science, whilst providing a broad and balanced academic curriculum with a wide range of cultural, sporting and social opportunities.
We are committed to very strong partnerships between home, school and community members. We believe that the whole community can contribute to motivating and supporting pupils’ progress.
At Glebe Primary School we aim to give your child a broad and balanced education in a secure, attractive environment.
The aim of this website is to give you as much information as possible about life at Glebe Primary School. The information is partly factual and partly based on the kinds of questions that many parents have asked over the years.
When the children arrive at Glebe Primary School they bring with them a range and wealth of experience and skills which the school, in partnership with parents, will build upon and develop. Throughout the school we foster a welcoming, caring, secure environment, which stimulates and supports the child in the learning process. Each child is valued and respected and is given the opportunity to experience success in order to develop a feeling of worth and positive self-image.
By the time your children leave our school our aim is to have broadened their horizons, developed their all-round potential and given them the view that education is an enriching and enjoyable experience.
We believe that educating children is a task jointly shared by home and school. Children benefit most when we work closely together and there will be many opportunities for you to be in and around school, both formally and informally.
